About Paul

Paul is the principal of Paul M. Brislin, E.A., an  accounting firm with offices in Montague and 

New Egypt, New Jersey. He is an Enrolled Agent, which is a designation earned from the IRS to represent taxpayers before the IRS.  A minimum of 72 CPE hours in Federal tax topics must be earned each 3 year cycle in order to renew the Enrolled Agent  designation.


Paul obtained an Associates Degree in Accounting from Orange County Community College and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accounting from Rider College.  While pursuing his degrees,  he worked for  CPA firms which influenced his decision to open his own practice.


Volunteering is a strong passion for Paul.  He is a member of the board of directors of the Tri-State  Chamber of Commerce  and the Pike County Chamber since 1994 having served each chamber as President and Treasurer.  


Additionally, he is the volunteer Treasurer for the Montague Grange, the Montague Historical Society, the Port Jervis Council for the Arts and the Tri-State Spelling Bee. 


Also, he is a member of  the Montague Township Committee for more than 17 years, having served as Mayor, Deputy Mayor and Finance Chairperson.
